Productive Day (as usual).
04:20 - Woke up feeling well rested, got decent energy today. this colder weather (around 6 degrees celcius right now), seems to vibe well with my sleeping. Although not a fan of that level of chilliness going outside though. Shoulder day, gym soon, listening to some Eurobeat.
07:00 - Back from the gym, had shower, creatine, 3 chicken burgers cooking in oven. Might go into office, not sure yet. Going to use ChatGPT to play around with some ideas for work stuff'. Shoulder day today, did something to help with my posture, had a good standard workout.
11:04 - Setup some new group policies at work that will make the new sister companies i.t. only be able to administrate their stuff, making the network more secure bit by bit, solving things, it's good progress. going into the office in a bit to put a new keyboard in a laptop.
17:02 - Finished up around 3.5 hours in the office, got some 5W-20 Oil for the 2008 Hyundai Elantra, Mobil 1 High Kilometer synthetic, and a new FRAM filter. Booked the Hyundai in tomorrow at 13:00 to get a recall done on a tail light switch, because why not. I don't like dealerships but it's going to make me feel richer than I am, haha.
17:41 - Why would Hyundai use a 8mm / 5/16th's reverse hex socket thingy for the oil pan instead of a normal bolt? Whatever at least it came out easy. Front subframe is pretty rusty, rest of car is decent. Wonder if I can find a new used front subframe...?
19:30 - Still have had only around 750 calories today, really hungry. I did the oil change on the Hyundai, checked the tire pressure (they were all at 25 PSI so I put them all to 32 PSI). Let the car idle for an hour, check engine light came on with a P0036, but I cleared it, and car was running fine so who cares. I'll fix it if it becomes an issue. Finally got around to taking the heat gun to the stickers that were on the back of the Hyundai and Rav4 from random companies, used Windex too to clean it up, finally nice and clean cars without stickers. The Hyundai had a ton of tree sap on it, so I took some Windex and rages and went to town on that, now the Hyundai has squeaky clean windows. Also quickly touched up the Rav4 front windshield and 94 Mustang back glass. Planning to take the Hyundai to the gym tomorrow morning, been quite a while since it's seen a decent drive. There a considerable amount of metal fragments in the oil from doing the oil change - mild cause for concern. Engine definitely on its way out, but they're cheap and plentiful, I'm not too worried. I'm going to keep up on the good quality oil changes, as I do, and hope that gets me 1-2 more winters at least, before considerable work needs to be done on the car. Brings back memories of youth being in that car, it's weird. It's a shitbox, yeah, but it, even more than the Rav4, is just meant to get from point A to point B. It's something I know is lesser than the other cars on the road, but I don't care, because it's mine, and it runs. I enjoy owning this Elantra. I don't love the car like my others, but I appreciate it and what it does. Godspeed Elantra, Godspeed.
