I HATE Windows 11 24H2 >:(
Fuuuuuuuuuck! I just spent 12 hours fucking with my PC because Windows 24H2 update or whatever the big yearly update for Windows 11 is just messed up my install of Windows so bad. The update's tried to installed itself 3 or so times over the past few months and failed, then rolled back and been fine, so I thought it would roll back if it didn't work (it did not!) and I thought it was worth a shot updating because performance is apparently better, but my God the stability is horribly worse. Bluescreens on bluescreens it didn't like installing on my PCIE 5.0 SSD, I tried 23H2, 24H2 multiple times, Windows 10, a few versions of Windows. End solution was rip my SSD, put it in a laptop, install 23H2 on the laptop, move SSD to desktop, for some reason NVIDIA drivers aren't working past August 20th 2024 or something like that. Anyways, screw it, I ordered Chinese food I didn't eat all day, that was annoying to deal with but thankfully I keep my documents etc on a different drive than the boot device. Not sure what I lost I'm sure something will hit me but anyways, back up and running for now. Installed some take control program thing that apparently stops Windows major version updates from auto installing. Okay, have a nice day y'all! Here's the chinese food I ordered. It's good and very filling, I was going to make some ramen before this came on top of this, glad I didn't. Was starving but now feel great! : )
