This was an awesome trip! I did more than I expected, I was in Mexico for 2 weeks, learnt how the buses worked (and how my legs had to hand in the aisle, lol!), I learnt how to get around to Walmart for groceries, and to other areas of town. Day 1, I got lost, went to the wrong Walmart, then on my way back trying to find buses, some nice random family saw I was lost, and drove me to the right bus stop. Thanks strangers! I was supposed to go on this trip with my friend, but he got some major anxiety beforehand, still paid his half, but didn't come. So I ended up getting a private tour, still had a blast on my own. Would love to come back to Mexico sometime, Pepe and Enrique, my tour guides, are people I won't forget, seeing Chichen Itza was awesome, XCaret was the coolest park I could imagine, I was able to work remotely from Mexico, the people are wonderful from what I saw. I felt safe walking the back streets, but I might have got lucky, I understand why all the buildings are barred up, but still a nice country!
The nice lady I rented my AirBNB off of had her housekeeping people do this nice towel bird : )
The view from outside my hotel balcony. Was nice!
This fedora goes everywhere!
I wandered the back streets of Mexico, had a blast!
A nice day in Mexico!
The expensive taco joint in the tourist zone in Cancun, tasty but super expensive!! Only went once.
A nice Mayan/Mexican gentleman who was a Chichen Itza tourist, he gave me a great tour and took some great photos!
A Mayan seller, I bought the blue wooden bird off of, for my mom.
Swimming with a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra was so silly lol, but it is waterproof!
Beautiful ocean view!
Wow, they hand made guacamole in front of you, that was genuinely the best meal I'd ever had in my life at that point!
